CFOx recently provided financial modeling services to an investor-backed Consumer Products company as it prepared for its Series A funding round. The company currently sells its reusable whiteboards and office supplies online and plans to expand into big box retail.
The company’s management needed to update its current financial model to clearly present its financial projections and growth plan. The CFOx team leveraged its past capital raise experience to develop an ‘investor-friendly’ financial model. The model allowed management to input and toggle numerous business assumptions and understand the resulting financial impacts. The end result was a dynamic financial model that can be used for the capital raise, but also could be used by management on a go forward basis to analyze different business scenarios and strategic options.
